Health & Safety Policy Statement
The Board of Directors and management of James Hall & Company Limited, incorporating all areas of the business and subsidiary companies, regard the promotion of health and safety measures as an absolute priority for management and employees at all levels.
James Hall & Company Limited is, through all levels of the business, committed to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that:
- The health, safety and welfare of all our employees is protected, so far as is reasonably practicable, while at work.
- Customers and members of the public who might be affected by our activities are not exposed to any unacceptable health and safety risks.
It is our company policy to:
- Assess all hazards associated with our work activities, on and off our premises, and control any significant risks identified.
- Maintain the workplace in a safe condition and provide safe means of access to and egress from the workplace.
- Provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment with adequate welfare facilities and arrangements.
- Ensure that all our procedures, processes and systems of work are designed to take account of health and safety.
- Provide every employee with comprehensive information, instruction, training and supervision to permit them to perform their work activities safely.
- Provide work equipment and systems of work that are safe without risks to health.
- Ensure facilities and arrangements are maintained to enable every employee to raise any issues regarding health and safety.
- Appoint competent people to advise and assist the Company in meeting our statutory duties including specialist when appropriate from outside the organisation.
