| SPAR Guilds: SPAR operates via a network of regional distributors and a central office in Harrow. This democratic organisation involves retailers in decision making at all levels via its unique Guild System. Local Guilds are based on the operating area of each distributor, with retailers serviced by James Hall & Co. belonging to their own local Guild of SPAR. The council of the National Guild of SPAR is the body which has the ultimate power to authorise or reject plans and promotional schemes. It comprises equal numbers of retail and wholesale members. |
